Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of paype.cc and its associated services. Effective June 2026.
1. Introduction
Welcome to paype.cc. These Terms of Service govern your use of Paype's payment services. By opening an account, you agree to these terms.
Paype is a Money Services Business operating as an agent of CCA.SH Money Services (US) Series LLC, a FinCEN-registered MSB. Paype is not a bank. Balances are not FDIC insured.
Please read these terms carefully. If you do not agree, do not open an account.
2. Definitions
- "Account" means your paype.cc account.
- "Balance" means the funds held in your account.
- "Card" means the virtual or physical payment card linked to your account.
- "Crypto" means supported digital assets: BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC.
- "Rail" means a payment method: SWIFT, SEPA, card network, or blockchain.
- "We," "us," "our," "Paype" means the Paype operating entity.
- "You," "your" means the account holder.
3. Eligibility
3.1 Personal Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old. Personal accounts are available to:
- Montana, US residents
- Residents of countries worldwide except Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and the European Union (coming soon)
3.2 Business Accounts
Business accounts are available to companies registered in any non-sanctioned jurisdiction that are not on our prohibited business list. You represent that you are authorized to act on behalf of the business.
3.3 Prohibited Businesses
We cannot serve: unlicensed money transmitters, unlicensed virtual asset services, unlicensed gambling operators, adult entertainment without age verification, sanctioned entities, shell companies with no verifiable beneficial owner, businesses engaged in illegal goods or services, or businesses whose primary purpose is tax evasion, money laundering, or fraud.
3.4 High-Risk Businesses
Businesses in certain categories (crypto exchange, licensed gambling, adult with age verification, licensed arms dealers, FX brokerage, affiliate marketing, nutraceuticals) are subject to a +50% fee surcharge and enhanced due diligence.
4. Account Opening
4.1 KYC Verification
You must complete identity verification to open an account. For individuals: government-issued photo ID and a selfie for liveness verification. For businesses: company registration documents, Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) identification for each 25%+ owner, proof of address, and business activity declaration.
4.2 Verification Powered by NamedCoin
Our KYC is powered by the NamedCoin Organization. Your verification credential may be reusable across participating services.
4.3 Ongoing Verification
We periodically re-verify your identity (typically every 12-24 months). You must notify us promptly of any changes to your UBOs, business activity, or contact information.
5. Your Account
5.1 Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
5.2 Security Features
We provide: biometric login, transaction notifications, card freeze/unfreeze, spending limits, location-based rules, and device management. We recommend enabling all available security features.
5.3 Sub-Accounts
Business accounts may create unlimited sub-accounts. Each sub-account has its own balance, card, spending limits, and access controls. You are responsible for managing sub-account permissions.
6. Payments
6.1 Sending Money
You may send funds via SWIFT, SEPA, card spend, paype-to-paype, or crypto withdrawal. Fees are displayed before you confirm each transaction. By confirming, you authorize the transaction and the displayed fee.
6.2 Receiving Money
You may receive funds via SWIFT, SEPA, crypto deposit, payment request, or paype-to-paype. Funds are credited when received and cleared. Crypto deposits require on-chain confirmation.
6.3 Payment Requests
You may create payment requests to share with clients. Clients can pay by card, bank transfer, or crypto without a paype account. You are responsible for the goods or services for which you request payment.
6.4 Currency Conversion
You may convert between supported currencies. The exchange rate is displayed before you confirm. The rate includes our conversion fee as listed in our pricing schedule.
6.5 Fees
Fees are listed on our pricing page and displayed before each transaction. We may update fees with advance notice. Your fee tier is based on your rolling volume and adjusts automatically.
7. Cards
7.1 Virtual Card
Your first virtual card is free and available immediately upon account activation. The card links to your paype balance and works with Apple Pay and Google Pay.
7.2 Card Controls
You may freeze/unfreeze, set spending limits, block merchants or categories, and enable location-based rules. Card replacement is instant for virtual cards.
7.3 Physical Card
Physical cards are available for a $15 one-time fee and ship to your verified address.
7.4 Digital Wallet Provisioning
Your real card number never leaves the app. Apple Pay and Google Pay generate device-specific transaction codes for every payment.
8. Crypto
8.1 Supported Assets
We support Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT on TRC-20 and ERC-20), and USD Coin (USDC).
8.2 Crypto Deposits and Withdrawals
Crypto deposits credit after on-chain confirmation. Crypto withdrawals are sent to the address you provide. Network fees are passed through at cost — we add no markup.
8.3 Swap
You may swap between any supported currency pair. The rate and fee are displayed before you confirm. Slippage protection pauses the swap if the market moves beyond your tolerance.
8.4 OTC Trading
For amounts over $50,000 equivalent, private OTC quotes are available to verified Orchestra-tier business accounts.
8.5 Smart Contracts
Custom smart contract integration is available. Terms are scoped per client. Smart contracts carry inherent risks including code vulnerabilities and irreversible execution.
9. AI Services
9.1 AI Employees
Paype uses AI systems for compliance verification, risk assessment, transaction monitoring, customer support, bookkeeping, and operational functions.
9.2 Human Review
You may request human review of any AI decision affecting you. For high-value or high-risk transactions, human review is required by default.
9.3 AI Limitations
AI systems may make errors. We do not warrant that AI decisions are always correct. The human review path is your safeguard.
10. Privacy
Your privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy. We process personal data only as needed to provide services, comply with law, and prevent fraud. We do not sell your personal information.
11. Risk Disclosures
11.1 No FDIC Insurance
Your paype balance is not a bank deposit and is not FDIC insured. Funds are held in segregated accounts, but there is no government backstop.
11.2 Crypto Risks
Cryptocurrency values are volatile. Crypto transactions are generally irreversible. You are responsible for verifying destination addresses. We are not responsible for losses due to market movements, blockchain congestion, or user error.
11.3 Smart Contract Risk
Smart contracts carry risks including code bugs, economic exploits, and oracle failures. Custom smart contract services are provided as-is.
12. Prohibited Activities
You may not use Paype for: money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, fraud, illegal goods or services, or any activity that violates applicable law. We report suspicious activity to FinCEN as required by law.
13. Account Termination
13.1 Termination by You
You may close your account at any time. Withdraw your balance first. We will return remaining funds to your linked bank account or designated wallet within a reasonable period.
13.2 Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your account for: violation of these terms, prohibited activity, failure to complete re-verification, sanctions designation, or as required by law. We will notify you unless prohibited by law.
13.3 Funds on Termination
We will return your balance to a verified bank account or wallet you control, subject to any holds required by law, court order, or pending investigation.
14. Dispute Resolution
Disputes are handled under our Dispute Resolution Policy, which includes mandatory customer support, a 90-day good-faith resolution period, and binding arbitration. You retain the right to opt out of arbitration within 30 days of account opening and the right to bring claims in small claims court.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Paype's liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for: losses due to market movements, blockchain congestion, user error, third-party service failures, or events beyond our reasonable control.
16. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Montana law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. For disputes not subject to arbitration, you consent to the jurisdiction of state and federal courts in Montana.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms with 30 days' notice for material changes. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, close your account before the changes take effect.
